At Yarra Ranges Pilates & Fitness we have created a space where any person, of any fitness level can feel comfortable and supported to achieve their health goals.
Founder Melissa is an APPI Certified Pilates Instructor who began her career at Yarra Ranges Physiotherapy. Over 10 years, she built strong community connections and spent the last 5 years instructing and supporting clients through injury, pain and movement limitations, helping many rebuild strength and regain confidence in their bodies.
Her approach is “clinically minded” yet community focused. Blending strength, rehabilitation principles and a whole lot of uplifting energy into every class.
With the loyal support of clients attending classes at Yarra Ranges Physiotherapy, the demand naturally grew for Yarra Ranges Pilates & Fitness to be born & open its doors in Launching Place.
The studio continues to share a close relationship with Yarra Ranges Physiotherapy, giving clients the added reassurance of professional support when needed.
Melissa and her team deliver welcoming small group classes and personalised sessions in a warm, down-to-earth environment where every stage of life is celebrated. From beginners to advanced clients, teens, mums and bubs, hardworking tradie men, and our golden mobility members.

Classes
We work with you to achieve your goals though small classes and individualised consultation.
Medium-Hard
Designed for those with Pilates experience, this class brings more of a burn! You’ll challenge your strength, endurance, coordination, and control. Progressive load and a strong focus on strengthening particular muscle groups. Expect a faster pace, creative flow and a full-body workout.
Beginner- Intermediate
This class is perfect for those who are new to Pilates and are ready to move their bodies.
We’ll focus on improving posture, core strength, flexibility, and overall body awareness using mindful movement.
Expect a blend of our “basics” with an extra layer of spice for those ready to challenge themselves a little more.
Mixed + Mums & Bubs
This is a “Mums and Bubs” friendly class.
Anyone that is mixed level and feels comfortable sharing the space with children are more than welcome to join.
Expect plenty of love, laughter, and adjustments as we embrace the joy of the little ones.
Strong & Upbeat
A high-energy, full-body Pilates class designed to build strength, stamina and boost endorphins. Expect strong, flowing movement, resistance-based exercises, a motivating playlist, and plenty of good vibes!

Muscle Mummies
A strong, empowering Pilates class designed for Mums who want to build muscle, tone up, and feel energised. With a focus on full-body strength, core control and movement. This class brings the heat in a supportive, fun environment. Expect loud music, jumping and sweat.
Golden Mobility
These classes are designed for those who need a little extra support in their movement. Including individuals recovering from injuries or aged 50 and over.

Teen Classes
A fun and friendly class designed for teens of all levels, focusing on strength, flexibility, and body awareness.
